Welcome
If the Acadian people are proud and rich in history, their tenure on the Web landscape is commensurate to their pride and wealth: Acadian sites abound.

Why, then, create yet another?

We do not aim to become a catchall and be everything to everyone. We would rather direct you to other sites, labor of love of dedicated historians, both professionals and amateurs.

Neither do we want to provide you with strive to become a genealogical site; others have done an excellent job at that, and there is no point in duplicating their efforts.

No. Our site wants to be a reference and specially an exchange resource. By our blog, we would like to permit to the original Acadian community to exchange among herself. Peoples and families, who are in the census list of the Acadian Family Names of the 18th Century or descendant of Officers and Soldiers of the Carignan Regiment , can be free members of our Acadian blog.

Takes this fabulous opportunity that we offer you… Come and see in the list if you are descending of the Acadian origin and become a free member. Your stories, yours ephemerid and commentaries on yours origins will become certainly good assets to keep in our memories the foundation and the evolution of our nation.

While it is easy to do a web search and find what you want when you know what you want, the task is far more arduous with a fuzzy objective.

Thus we humbly hope to become a startup point for your Acadian research when the topic is unclear, and will strive to become a useful resource to the seekers.
